Welcome
The Center for Tourism Studies (Centre d'Etude du Tourisme) was created in the 80's by belgian economists and political scientists interested in tourism matters. It is an institute dedicated to research and solutions related to tourism policies and public management.

The Center belongs to the Catholic University of Louvain and is located in Mons. It is now the tourism center of excellence of the Catholic University of Louvain (Université Catholique de Louvain), since fusion between UCL and FUCAM has taken place. Mons is an old city located in southern Belgium and was designed by EU as European capital of culture in 2015.
